School Uniform

Parents/Carers are encouraged to support a sense of school pride and belonging in their child
by ensuring they are in the correct uniform.

Boys

  • Smart grey uniform trousers or shorts in the warmer weather
  • Black sensible shoes. (No trainers please)
  • White shirt or polo shirt
  • Red sweatshirt  (school emblem versions available from school office

Girls

  • Smart grey uniform trousers or grey skirt
  • grey or black tights or white socks
  • Black sensible shoes. (No trainers please)
  • White shirt or polo shirt
  • Red sweatshirt/cardigan (school emblem versions available from school office
  • In the summer girls may wear red striped or checked dress with optional red cardigan with school emblem.

P.E. & Games

Boys

  • Plain black shorts
  • T-shirt in house colour
  • Plimsolls or trainers (for games)
  • Swimming trunks (fitted type not baggy)

Girls

  • Plain black shorts
  • T-shirt in house colours
  • Plimsolls or trainers (for games)
  • One-piece swimming costume

Pupils involved in winter games need to have a sensible plain tracksuit to wear.
A lost property box is kept in school.

Health and Safety

For your child’s safety and the safety of other pupils, jewellery should not be worn at school. Rings and necklaces can be very dangerous in Technology, P.E. and in the playground. Pupils who have pierced ears should wear pinhead studs only which should not be worn on PE days. A basic wristwatch may be worn but removed for PE . Make up must not be worn in school except for special occasions e.g. drama presentations. Hair accessories should be small in size and school colours (red, black or white).

For health and safety reasons shoulder length hair should be tied back and nails should be kept short.  Nail varnish is not allowed.
